Stickers for Peanut LLC ("Stickers for Peanut," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use the Stickers for Peanut mobile application, our website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
Our Services allow users to upload photos, create and edit sticker designs, use AI-powered image transformations powered by the OpenAI image API, place orders, and, if they choose to create an account, view prior orders and save sticker designs for later.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through:
This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party services that may have their own privacy policies, including Sign in with Apple, Apple Pay, Stripe, OpenAI, Google Cloud, Google Analytics, Sentry, PostHog, Meta (including Meta Pixel), shipping carriers, and other service providers.
We collect the following categories of information.
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
We may also collect:
We do not collect passwords directly from users because authentication is handled through Sign in with Apple. We do not collect contacts or microphone data. We and our service providers, including Sentry or similar crash-reporting tools, may collect crash diagnostics and related technical information to detect, investigate, and fix app errors, stability issues, and performance problems.
Our website is primarily informational, but we and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies—including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and potentially other analytics, advertising, or affiliate-tracking tools—to understand traffic, measure marketing and advertising performance, improve the website, and support our marketing efforts.
We use personal information to:
On supported app versions, a model on your device looks for faces and estimates whether a photo appears to show a child under 13. This check currently runs in observation mode: it reports results but does not block uploads. Photos continue to cloud screening, including if the on-device check fails or cannot reach a conclusion. Older versions without this check also upload photos for cloud screening.
Photos submitted through the app may be compressed on your device before being sent over HTTPS to our backend. Our backend sends uploaded photos to OpenAI for content screening. This safety screening is separate from AI image generation or editing. When you use AI image generation or editing features, our backend may send the image to the OpenAI image API, or to Google’s image API if you have selected that provider in the app’s settings, using pre-written prompt templates. The resulting processed image is returned and may be saved as the processed sticker image.
Where our screening indicates that a photo appears to show a child under 13, the app declines to run AI generation or editing on that photo. The photo can still be used to make and print an ordinary sticker. See Section 8.
To monitor screening performance, the app sends us a separate diagnostic report containing whether the check reached a conclusion, the number of faces found, the highest and individual under-13 scores, a reason code, processing time, error text if the check failed, the cloud screening result, the screening mode and threshold, and the platform (iOS).
These diagnostic reports contain no photo, thumbnail, image hash, filename, account ID, device ID, or advertising ID. Our server receives the sender’s IP address and request time. The server discards individual face scores and retains error text only for failed checks. The photo upload described above is separate from this diagnostic report.
These screening tools are automated. They are not guaranteed to detect age, consent, legality, or every prohibited image. Photos that are uploaded may undergo additional automated or manual review.
We do not intentionally store raw or original uploaded photos long-term in our own database or storage. However, we may temporarily handle those files as needed to process your request, screen uploads, secure the service, troubleshoot issues, or comply with legal obligations.
Processed sticker images may be stored so that you can use cart, saved-for-later, and order-history features. Authorized admin staff may be able to view stored processed images while they remain in storage for operational, support, moderation, or fulfillment purposes.
Because we use third-party providers, submitted images, prompts, outputs, and related metadata may be processed by OpenAI and Google Cloud in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies, service configurations, and legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, we may allow certain analytics and advertising partners, such as Google and Meta, to collect limited website-related information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to help us understand traffic, improve the website, measure campaign performance, and support our marketing efforts. Depending on applicable law, this type of disclosure may be considered "sharing" for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may share personal information with the following categories of recipients:
We use third-party providers to help operate the Services, such as providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments, analytics, advertising measurement, AI processing, upload screening, crash reporting, customer communications, and technical operations. These may include providers such as Supabase, Stripe, Apple, OpenAI, Google Cloud, Sentry, PostHog, Google Analytics, and Meta (including Meta Pixel).
To print and deliver your order, we share the information needed for fulfillment, including your name, shipping address, order details, and artwork or processed sticker file. Our print and fulfillment partner receives shipping information, order details, and artwork, along with any additional billing, contact, or note information included in the order file. Our agreement prohibits the partner from selling this information or using it for its own marketing, profiling, model training, or unrelated commercial purposes.
We or our fulfillment partners may share your name, address, and shipping-related information with shipping carriers or delivery providers to complete delivery of your order. The partner's postage providers and shipping carriers receive delivery and parcel details, not artwork.
We may disclose information if we believe doing so is necessary to:
We may disclose or transfer information as part of an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, bankruptcy, or other business transaction.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
In general:
Under our current fulfillment agreement, our print and fulfillment partner deletes order artwork and personalization content no later than six months after shipment. It retains transaction records, including recipient names and delivery addresses but excluding artwork and personalization content, for seven years from the end of the shipment calendar year for tax and accounting purposes, then deletes them.
If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account from our active app systems, except where we need to retain certain information for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or similar legitimate business purposes.
Account creation is optional. If you create an account, you may request deletion of your account through the app. You may also contact us at hello@stickersforpeanut.com for help with account-related requests.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at hello@stickersforpeanut.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
You may be able to control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings and any cookie banners, consent tools, or privacy choices we make available on our website. Blocking or limiting cookies may affect some website functionality.
If we send marketing emails, you may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us at hello@stickersforpeanut.com. Opting out of marketing messages will not stop service-related communications, such as order confirmations or support responses.
Our Services are intended for a general audience, but not for children under 13. We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create accounts or use the Services. Users may submit photos of minors, including children under 13, for ordinary sticker printing, subject to the permissions and other requirements in our Terms of Use. Photos or likenesses of children under 13 may not be used with our AI image generation or editing features.
Where our screening indicates a photo appears to show a child under 13, the app refuses to run AI generation or editing on it. Screening can make mistakes in both directions, so we also ask you to confirm that a photo contains no child under 13 before AI features run on it.
Photos submitted for ordinary printing may still be sent to OpenAI for safety screening and shared with our print and fulfillment partner to fulfill orders. The on-device check currently does not block uploads, as explained in Section 4.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us or that a photo or likeness of a child under 13 has been used with our AI image generation or editing features, please contact us at hello@stickersforpeanut.com so that we can review and take appropriate action.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We are based in the United States, and the third-party providers we use may process or store information in the United States and other countries. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be processed outside your home state or country, subject to applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and take any additional steps required by applicable law.
